Local Tips Before You Set Off
Lock In Before Mid-June
Budva Riviera supply tightens from late June, rates on identical cars can climb 30-40% the week before pickup. Book early, free cancellation means no risk.
Fuel Up Before Lovćen
The Kotor-Cetinje serpentine climbs through 25 hairpins from the bay to Njeguši. No petrol stations on the climb. Top up in Budva or Tivat before you turn inland.
Green Card for Debeli Brijeg
Dubrovnik day trips go through the Debeli Brijeg crossing, allow 10 minutes off-peak, up to two hours on a Saturday in August. The Green Card we prepare at booking keeps the checkpoint to a 30-second nod.

A valid driving licence (Latin script details preferred) and a passport or ID. A credit card is not required on any car on the platform — cash, debit card and crypto are accepted at the supplier. International Driving Permit recommended if your licence is only valid in its country of origin. Copies or electronic licences are not accepted.
Yes — cross-border travel is sold as a paid permit at three tiers: (1) Croatia, Bosnia and Herzegovina and Serbia (no Green Card required); (2) the same countries plus Albania and Kosovo (Green Card provided); (3) Albania, Kosovo, Croatia, Bosnia, Serbia, Macedonia, all EU countries and Switzerland (Green Card provided). The right tier for your trip is shown at checkout.
Age and required driving experience vary by vehicle. The lowest cars on the platform are available from 18+ years old with 1+ years driving experience — filter by your age and experience to see the cars open to you.
Every booking includes the free Minimum (third-party liability) cover with a typical €100 deposit and VAT. Insurance upgrades are paid extras: Basic, Full, and a no-deposit Full Plus. Unlimited mileage is included on most cars (376 of around 380). Each listing shows the cover, mileage policy and any extras before you confirm.
A representative meets you inside the Tivat Airport arrivals area with a name board. Your car is in the terminal car park, steps away. The drive to Budva Old Town is around fifteen minutes.
Yes, one-way rentals are available. Pickup and drop-off can be at different locations across Montenegro — contact us for the combinations on offer and any applicable transfer fee.
Free cancellation is available on selected cars (around 176 of approximately 380, marked clearly in the search results). On those cars, the full advance payment is refunded if you cancel more than 24 hours before pickup; cancellations within 24 hours of pickup are non-refundable.
Most cars hold a €100 deposit at pickup. 47 cars on the platform require no deposit at all, and a further 124 offer a no-deposit option as a paid service. Choosing the Full Plus insurance tier also waives the deposit. The exact amount (if any) is shown clearly before you book.
